Ali M. Al-Asadi
Instructor in psychology at Grande Prairie Regional College, Mr. Al-Asadi is a practicing psychologist. He also teaches and conducts research in the history of Islam.
 



Edward Bader
Mr. Bader is a drawing, painting, contemporary art and New Media courses instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College. He holds both a Masters of Fine Arts in Drawing/Painting and a Masters in Popular Culture.
 



Ian Cooper
Mr. Cooper is pursuing a Masters degree in sociology at the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters degree in Sociology and Social Policy at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. His thesis work examines how various segments of civil society are able to influence public policy in totalitarian political systems.
 



Philip Currie
Professor and Canada Research Chair in Dinosaur Palaeobiology, University of Alberta. Dr. Currie’s research is on the problems of carnivorous dinosaurs and the origin of birds, dinosaur behaviour and on the Cretaceous ecosystems of western North America.
 



Tom Enders
Dr. Enders teaches political science and philosophy at Grande Prairie Regional College. His research interests include democracy and liberty, and political and moral rights and obligations in theory and practice.
 



Angela Facundo
Ms. Facundo is currently completing her Master’s thesis at the University of Guelph. She begins PhD studies at York University in the Fall of 2008.
 



Federico Fanti
University of Bologna, Italy. Mr. Fanti is a PhD student, associated with the University of Alberta. His research is on the geology and stratigraphy of the Upper Cretaceous Wapiti Formation of Northwest Alberta.
 



René R. Gadacz
Dr. Gadacz is a sociology instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College. His research interests include minority health/disability studies, community economic development, and international human rights.
 



Bruce Galenza
Instructor in psychology at Grande Prairie Regional College, Dr. Galenza’s focus is on research methodology and epistemology.
 



Anna Gillis
Ms. Gillis is an Instructional Designer at Grande Prairie Regional College, and is currently working on her Masters degree in Education, specializing in Educational Technologies.
 



Sheldon Graber
Mr. Graber of Grande Prairie is a member of the Palaeontological Society of the Peace, a volunteer society of amateur palaeontologists.
 



Bert Hunt
Mr. Hunt, an engineering instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College, is a member of the Palaeontological Society of the Peace, a volunteer society of amateur palaeontologists.
 



Larry Hurtado
Professor of New Testament Language, Literature and Theology at the University of Edinburgh, Dr. Hurtado’s approach is recognized across the scholarly and religious divides as non-dogmatic and original. He is often an invited speaker in Jewish and Muslim circles.
 



Dianne McDonald
Ms. McDonald teaches English Composition and Introductory Sociology at Grande Prairie Regional College. Her interests include teaching English as a second language.
 



Katalin Ormay
Ms. Ormay, Library Technician, Grande Prairie Regional College, is a members of the Palaeontological Society of the Peace, a volunteer society of amateur palaeontologists.
 



Jaroslav (Jerry) Petryshyn
Dr. Petryshyn is a history instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College. His specialty is Canadian history and 20th century Russia. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Alberta Press Council and is a member of the GPRC Board of Governors.
 



Campbell Ross
Dr. Ross serves as Grande Prairie Regional College’s Education Coordinator and is also an instructor in “History of the North” and Native Studies. Dr. Ross is currently engaged in a historical research project on the development of schooling and education in northern Alberta.
 



Alan Segal
Dr. Segal is a sociology instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College and is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Education program offered by the University of Northern British Columbia. His research and intellectual interest is in sexuality, sexual identities, and gender.
